Personal note about me...
There is no one just like me. But you know what? There's no one just like you either. We don't need to be anyone else other than who God designed us to be. And I think it's absolutely incredible we get to use our unique personalities to flavor this life he has given us. And my personality loves to laugh. A lot. I love to find the humor in most things, actually. Allowing myself to laugh, provides me the freedom to exhale, which has been instrumental in keeping me focused during all of the many ups and downs of my life.
I am a mom of two incredible adults and a KiKi to one perfect (of course he is) grandson. I've also been a full-time caregiver for my late husband, a widow, a single mom, and a divorcee. My life, as I'm sure for you as well, has certainly had its highs and low, lows. All of my personal experiences have brought God's truths and promises into a more tangible relationship for me. Each struggle and
celebration has helped shape every book I've written, every speech I've given, and every Bible lesson I've taught.
The more I learn from my experiences, the less I truly feel like I know about our sovereign God. I continue to learn new truths about him as well as truths that counter old beliefs along my journey. And with each new discovery I'm reminded of just how endless God's wisdom really is. But one thing I'm unequivocally sure of is, life is too short. It's too short to not trust the goodness Jesus has for me. It's too short to not step into who he has called me to be. And I would love for nothing more than to share my absolute zeal for this kind of life with you.
Love, Keri

As far as my background, I am the founder of MPR Ministries, a Bible teacher, Christian author, speaker, personal trainer certified by the National Academy of Sports and Medicine in fitness and nutrition, and an American Council of Exercise certified behavior change specialist. The latter is just a fancy-sounding title that basically means I've studied psychology. Over the years, I've been a classroom teacher and small business owner. These are all titles that don't really hold much weight, truth be told. I'm learning it's really irrelevant what my title is and what I'm doing. The more relevance comes from "why" I'm doing these assignments.
No matter what role I'm in, I'm passionate about weaving in the beauty of changing from the inside-out. Because that, my friend, is how we live this abundant life FROM the completion of Christ. And I can't wait to share more about this with you!
